Today a kid in my school committed suicide. The thought of seeing a whole school become lifeless and in mourning pain is horrible to experience. I’m surprised that a person with so many friends, so much love would just give away their life.
” I can’t believe this, he was always smiling.”
“I talked to him just yesterday he was fine.”
“He did sports, he was always making people laugh.”
” He was the last person that would have done this”
Some of the comments that I heard today. I didn’t get a chance to know him but I still felt grief.
No one saw any warning signs, until they read his facebook.
We read staus updates everyday yet people don’t question a staus like this
“I’ve screwed up life sooo bad, there’s only one option.”
this comment got 7 likes before he committed suicide.
I didn’t know him and if I didn’t hear all the great things people said about him today. From his facebook statuses I would have thought he was a kid living a miserable life.
And he made this public for everyone to see, no part of his page was private.
Behind every smile is a ugly truth. Look for the warning signs, help, and be kind.
Don’t blame people for being selfish, if you won’t even care to help.
